Knockout Artist Sugar Martinez (17-0, 17 KOs) Makes His US Debut Against Philly Veteran Daiyan Butt on Sat., April 11, at Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City & Live on ProBoxTV

(February 24, 2026) Power-punching Dominican super lightweight knockout artist Heidan Martinez Morillo, aka “Sugar Martinez,” will make his United States ring debut against tough Philadelphian Daiyaan “Badshah” Butt on the ProBoxTV-televised “Homecoming” event, Saturday, April 11, from the Adrian Phillips Theater at Jim Whelan Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City and broadcast live on ProBoxTV (7:00 pm ET).

Presented by Sampson Boxing, in partnership with Paco Presents and ProBoxTV, in the 10-round main event, WBO 5-, IBF 9- and WBC 11-ranked Vito “White Magic” Mielnicki Jr. (22-1, 13 KOs) of Roseland, New Jersey, will defend his WBC Continental, IBF USBA & WBO Global Middleweight Championships in his home state of New Jersey against undefeated Omar Ulises “La Bala” Huerta (15-0-1, 13 KOs) of San Ysidro, California via Tijuana.

Tickets for ProBoxTV’s “The Contender Series: The Homecoming Mielnicki vs. Huerta” start at $65 and are available now through Ticketmaster or at the Jim Whelan Boardwalk Hall Box Office: (609) 348-7512.

In the 10-round co-featured bout, undefeated Cuban Yan Marcos (14-0, 10 KOs) of Miami via Havana takes on also undefeated local favorite Dwyke Flemmings Jr. (11-0, 10 KOs) Paterson, New Jersey, for the WBA Intercontinental & USBA Super Welterweight Championships.

The intriguing 10-round rumble between 21-year-old sharpshooter Martinez (17-0, 17 KOs) of Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, and rugged Philly veteran Butt (20-3, 10 KOs) will serve as the toughest test of young Martinez’s career and help gauge his talent on the international stage. From a neighborhood called La Isabelita in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, Martinez grew up near WBC World Middleweight Champion Carlos “Caballo Bronco” Adames, top super lightweight contender Elvis Rodriguez and undefeated former Olympian Rohan Polanco.

Originally from Los Angeles, the 6-foot-tall 28-year-old Butt has won 10 of his last 11 bouts dating back to 2022 and will be looking to spring the upset against the unproven Dominican slugger.

WBO 2-, IBF 4-, and WBC 11-ranked light flyweight Erick Badillo (19-0, 8 KOs) of Distrito Federal, México, Mexico, is also scheduled to appear against an opponent that is TBA.

Several more bouts featuring local and international talent will be announced shortly. On fight night, doors open at 5:30 pm and the action starts at 6:00 pm. Jim Whelan Boardwalk Hall is located at 2301 Boardwalk in Atlantic City. Phone: (609) 348-7000.
