With the clashes between Alan Castaño and Francisco Torres and Sergio López against Johnatan Sánchez will continue this Saturday, February 2, at the Rivadavia club in Necochea (Buenos Aires) the Super 8 middleweight tournament, whose winner will receive the Carlos Monzón Cup and a replica of the CMB belt that the great idol had in his time as champion.

The evening of Necochea will start at 8 pm local time (with six amateur and promotional boxing fights that will be broadcast on the TyC Sports Play streaming) and, from 11:30 pm, TyC Sports will televise the main matches.

The presentation of the undefeated and rising Alan Castaño (from Isidro Casanova, Buenos Aires, with 13-0, 8 KO) is perhaps the strongest point of the festival since Alan, besides being the brother of Brian (only man world champion who has Argentina), is a pugilist of enormous projection.

But in front he will have the hard and skillful Francisco "Pancho" Torres (José León Suárez -Bs.As- with 10-3-1, 4 KO), who is willing to give battle and provoke surprise.

The winner of the match Castaño-Torres will face on the 6th of April in the semifinals Gonzalo Coria, who on January 5 won by KOT 8 Martín Bulacio, on the first date of the Super 8, held in Las Varillas (Córdoba).

In the other main bout, the representative of Ezeiza (Bs.As), Sergio "Checho" López (12-2-0, 9 KO), starts as a light favorite for his explosive and accurate boxing, in front to the Chubut´ Johnatan Sánchez (13-3-1, 4 KO), an exponent of great courage.

Whoever wins in this fight will go, also on 4/6, against Germán Peralta, who eliminated by unanimous decision Tomás Reynoso in the first phase.

The final of the Super 8 is scheduled for July 6.

The bout card will be completed with 3 other professional fights.
